Our process is designed to make your building project exciting and stress free!
While every building project is different, there are some standard steps that are essential to ensuring that your experience is smooth and enjoyable. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about these steps. Your satisfaction is our goal!
Whether your project is a new home or a bathroom or kitchen remodel, our goal on each project is to help you envision and realize your dream.
STEP 1 – INITIAL CONSULTATION
A PRK Williams Building Group Team Member will meet with you at a time that is convenient for you to discuss your vision, budget and location. Your “needs” and “wants” will also be discussed.
STEP 2 – PRE-APPROVAL
During this stage, you obtain lender pre-approval to solidify your home budget without threatening your financial security.
STEP 3 – FIND YOUR LOT
There are advantages and disadvanges to every lot. PRK Williams Buiding Group will provide guidance on picking the right lot for you based on your needs and lifestyle.
STEP 4 – DESIGN HOME
Making your dreams come true starts with the design of your custom home. Our architect will design your home to your specific needs and aspirations.
STEP 5 – SUBMIT PERMITS
PRK Williams Building Group will submit all documentation and information needed to obtain required building permits. You won’t be waiting unnecessarily for a permit to get approved!
STEP 6 – PROJECT KICKOFF
During project kickoff, you will meet with your project manager to ask any lingering questions ahead of starting day.
STEP 7 – SELECTIONS
To ensure clear communication and a smooth schedule, PRK Williams Building Group will provide you with a Home Selection Guide. This guide outlines the items and selections that you will need to make for your new home. While there may be some variations, this guide will help you navigate the selection process.
STEP 8 – BREAK GROUND
Once permits are received, we are cleared to begin construction of your new home. We will start by clearning the land of trees and debris, leveling the ground for building, and moving materials to and from the site.
STEP 9 – CONSTRUCTION
Our master home builders will get to work, keeping you up-to-date every step of the way.
STEP 10 – CLOSEOUT
Your house is 99% compete! Final walk through with your project manager to make sure your quality satisfaction is met.
